AllNaturalSoapStore.com is a small family owned business tucked in the woods in Williamsport, Maryland owned by me, Tanya Ortiz. I started making soap when my daughter was due to have a baby. I did not want my grandson to be born in this world being slathered with chemicals on his body. Thanks to a lady named Andrea who taught me how to make soap, I learned how to make liquid Castile soap.

I began to replace all the soap in my household. I started to use the Castile for bathing, then washing dishes, then washing the dogs, and I even figured out how to brush my teeth with it! ( add glycerine,baking soda and peppermint essential oil).  I loved the fact that my daughter was able to bathe my grandson with out chemicals, and that I was able to replace all the soap in my house with my all natural Castile soap.

Even though I was happy that my grandson was being bathed in an all natural soap, as well as having replaced all the soap in my household, I didn't like the fact that I had to use chemicals to wash my clothes. I wanted to figure out a way to reduce my exposure to chemicals in my laundry soap. I figured that I had chemicals in the clothes that I wear, the towels that I dry and bathe with as well as the sheets that I sleep on. There had to be a way that I could be chemical free while still being able to wash my clothes and after much research, I found that out that there is! Soap Nuts!

My goal is to make available not only to myself and my family but to the general public a way to help reduce one's exposure to harsh chemicals as well as being much more environmentally friendly.
